This card was created using an amazing image called "Black Hellebore" by Rebecca Sinz. It's available both as a rubber stamp and also as a digi. Her face was shaded with colored pencils. The following items were used to created the card:
Cardstock
Design paper by Bobunny
Pearls by Prima
Flowers- Wild Orchid Crafts
Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays
Doily
Frame cut from Cricut
Vintage lace
Tickets by Recollections
Vintage Photo- Tim Holtz
The background paper was dry embossed and inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The frame was sprayed with a coral shimmer spray, as were some of the flowers. The doily was sprayed in a Moonshadow mist called Ethereal Emerald.
In this tutorial, Lori demonstrates how to shade the flowers using ink from a stamp pad and a blender pen and then adding mica over the top for that special POP of sparkle.

This time for Variations week, we were given the challenge to create a unique card with all of the design team using the same stamp. The stamp we used was "Mystery" by Anna Marine. I decided to do a princess in the tower theme and go with that. I wanted her to look like she was gazing out the window.
I dry embossed the tower and added Ethereal Emerald (Lindy's Stamp Gang) and inked over the top of the raised part with Vintage Photo.
For the windows, I cut out the frames three times for the multi-colored/ layered effect and added Glossy Accents over the top to create the look of stained glass.

I added various gems, lace, pearls, Stickles, and flowers painted with shimmer sprays. I also added a clock by Tim Holtz. The lace vine is by Recollections. The "stones" on the inside wall were created with a small square stamp pad. The image was colored with Copic markers and available at www.sweetpeastamps.com.
I had so much fun creating this card! :)

I was thinking yesterday that I should be better about keeping my blog up to date with my projects. I decided on a whim to add some of my projects to Pinterest ( why I am adding another media to keep up with when I don't even do the ones I have is beyond me....) that I have a lot more projects than I ever post. I actually only joined Pinterest because my sister is always on there and wanted me to join. So far I haven't spent any time on there other than yesterday posting, and I rarely go on Facebook either.
So...I am resolving to post on my blog a little more often. I can't promise I will post on it daily, but a little more than I have been.
